History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: He wears a tattered pair of loose black pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'4" when asserting himself. Sporting a brown mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Shane was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Shane's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Shane and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Description: This man stands a little under 5'4" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He dresses like a well dressed Roofer does. His hair is white and very short. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He worked as a nervous Roofer and found it very stressful. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and expand his business

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. He is bald on top and has large brown tufts of hair around his ears. His eyes are blue.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and wants to work out more often

Description: He is lean but muscular and prefers to wear violet pants and tee shirts. His white hair is still thick. His amber eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his youth he was a Cartwright, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and a deep hatred of brigands
