Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: The child of a Scribe, who enjoyed hunting, Gerald was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Gerald took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up quarterstaff and armor he uses now. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Performer father left him crippled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
