Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Miles hails from a village terrorized by orcs. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'4" when asserting himself. His black hair is singed and shortened. His hazel eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shortspear.

Personality: John speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Richard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: Many drow want him driven away.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: The child of a Barrister, who enjoyed hunting, Gunter was taken on many hunting expeditions. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
