History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Lance was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Tailor. He tends to his Tailor job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Guard hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: To be a Guard again; and doesn't want to be a unemployed and was forced into it by his family

History: He is a Metallic Dragon in disguise. A freak accident while working with his Tailor father left him crippled. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
