History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hubert fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He's also a talented Detective, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Assassin who has hired him part-time. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was born in the east. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and seeks redemption

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
