History: He was born in the south. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: He is a Yochlol in disguise. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.
