History: Roland hails from a village terrorized by giants. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Roland was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Trym never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: Charles lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Brewer. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
