History: Born in the west to a Bather, Shane learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Blacksmith for hire.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Clerebold embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He has all his life been fascinated with dancing.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother.
