History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shepherd hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Roger's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He has all his life been fascinated with singing.

History: He was born into a rich family. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: He was born in the south. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.
