History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Miles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Miles has worked very hard to control his curse. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. After a long history of fighting, Roland and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
