Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Slave Trader. He's also a talented Seamstress, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and many drow want him driven away
