History: He comes from a rich northern family. His first spouse was a Herbalist, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: Bertram is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He tends to his Miner job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
