Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: The child of a Banker, who enjoyed hunting, Roger was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. He has golden hair. His eyes are amber and beady.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born in the north to a Laborer, Roger learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Laborer. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to end his boredom

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Cory's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Description: This slender man stands about 5'9". He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. He wears a broad hat to hide his balding. His eyes are blue and catlike.

Personality: Gunter speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. During his travels, Gunter and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Gunter discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Gunter fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
