History: Lance lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. History: Gifted from a young age, Kyle studied abroad. Through the years after Kyle was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Kyle's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Kyle and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Anselm was born with his father's beautiful face. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.
