History: John lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Shane was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: Wants a kiss; and he wants revenge against goblins
