Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He has a very tight haircut. He has a dull look in his violet eyes.
Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.
History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Dean was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Being a Carpenter kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: He wants revenge against goblins; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Sporting a auburn mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His blue eyes peer out from beneath his feathered grey hat.
Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He takes great joy in being the best Spice Merchant in town.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Spice Merchant work with an outfit from a few towns over. Spice Merchant work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.
History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

Description: He wears a robe, a symbol of luck around his neck, and a pickaxe on his belt. He has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. His hair is chestnut, silky, and of moderate length. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Kyle fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
