Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. A true patriot, Hugh would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hugh fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. Ralf enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ralf grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Nicholas hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.
