History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. After months of barely getting by, William managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.
