He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: He got into the Spice Merchant business at a young age. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Spice Merchant for hire.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is dressed in a clean yellow cloak covering his clean studded leather. His hair is white and curly. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Justin lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: To protect his home; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and has a large grey mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his black robe. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His silver hair is long and unkept. His violet eyes peer out from beneath his Stetson grey hat.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Roland hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he has money and likes to spend it
