His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

History: Born to a Shipwright, his father struggled to pay the bills. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Cartwright for the past few years.

Motivation: To end his boredom.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Richard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Mayor and was forced into it by his family; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
