History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Arnold was born on a far western plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Mercenary. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Mercenary and was forced into it by his family; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it

Through the years after Rolf was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Rolf's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.
