Personality: Aldous speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Cartwright profession.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Bookbinder work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bookbinder work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has achieved small success as a Bookbinder.

Kody decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
