History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His first spouse was a Knight, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. The war was a terrible time for him, and Hunter does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and balancing his hectic life and new bowyer responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shane fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and many dire rats want him driven away

History: Born in the north to a Priest, Hubert learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His childhood dream was to be a Weaver, but he was a colossal failure. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Lewis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
