Balimaar Thorpe, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This tall, slender man typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep yellow leather and dull violet iron scale mail. His hair is white and very short. His blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.
Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Balimaar was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.
Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
Ideals: Artistic. Flaws: Racist. Bonds: Family, Religious, Enemies. Occupation: Mercenary

Nicholas Jacobs, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. His chestnut hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a dagger scrunchie. His eyes are a pleasant green.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He enjoys reading and quiet.
History: Nicholas was born with his father's beautiful face. Through the years after Nicholas was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Nicholas's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nicholas fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
