History: Gilbert hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Through the years after Gilbert was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Butcher arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Charles was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.
