His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Ernest took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up ceremonial dagger and armor he uses now. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Bertram was raised in a hard working conservative environment. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Slave Trader for hire.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was born in the west. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
