History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and retire the richest man in the west

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. He has done his best to style his brown hair to look like a famous performer. His hazel eyes peer out from beneath his top grey hat.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gilbert embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Gilbert's homeland. Gilbert decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. After a long history of fighting, Gilbert and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born in a small forest village. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Henry took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up longsword and armor he uses now. He's also a talented Stylist, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sai.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion.

Description: 5'5" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his dagger with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His silver hair is heavily combed to the left. His eyes are likewise gray.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. When Jocelyn reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Ruler.
