History: He comes from a rich western family. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Roofer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Roofer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Everard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Everard was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: He got into the Spy business at a young age. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: To be a Cartwright again; and balancing his hectic life and new spy responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
