History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Tanner. He became a Tanner soon after.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying west to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and he is content

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Bertram was born the youngest of three triplets. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and doesn't want to be a fisher and was forced into it by his family

Description: He is a husky man, who has the majority of his body covered in plate. His feathered hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Carter born in the past three hundred years. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gomory grew up listening to his father's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Carter for hire.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
