Personality: Lance is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Born in the south to a Mortician, Lance learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mortician. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Lance was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Cory embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Through the years after Cory was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Cory's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Farmer mother left him crippled. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Doctor for the past few years.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and wants to open a new tavern

History: Charles was born the youngest of three triplets. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His first spouse was a Ruler, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.
