Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and wears a grey collared shirt and white pants. He accessorizes with a brown scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across his shirt. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He wears a small hat to hide his balding. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Personality: He hates drow. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He has all his life been fascinated with music.

History: He was born into a rich family. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered drow who tried to eat his hand. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Robert lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He is greedy; and an old rival family wants him found

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears green trousers with white and pastel striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. His blonde hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a top hat. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep amber.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: Frederick was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it
