History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Description: An older man who wears rags and sports a simple walking cane, he is not a threatening figure. His deerstalker hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His blue eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Bernard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. After coming to the age of reason, Bernard took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland.
