History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Roland alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has never given up on his dancing dream.

Description: A middle-aged man, he is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time, and is pretty ugly. His golden hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady green eyes.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To protect his home; and he's looking for his big break

Description: He is an average looking southern male in his early mid-life. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He keeps his long white hair kept up in a rat tail. His amber eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A freak accident while working with his Performer mother left him crippled. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: He likes to wear ponchos typically of a light pastel in addition to tight pants. He has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. He has done his best to style his golden hair to look like a famous performer. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.
