Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Anselm was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
