He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving John alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His childhood dream was to be a Gardener, but he was a colossal failure. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing painting.

History: The child of a Ploughman, who enjoyed hunting, Ralf was taken on many hunting expeditions. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Scribe.

Motivation: To be a Ploughman again; and further expansion of business

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
