Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Chad was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Chad's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. Guy was born on a far eastern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Unemployed. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

His hair is long and golden with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small pastel clips. His beard is black, braided, and well cared for. His eyes are amber.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Roger embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
