Personality: He is a Sage first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. The war was a terrible time for him, and Robert does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Sage work with an outfit from a few towns over. Sage work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
