This search led him directly into Mercenary work with an outfit from a few towns over. Mercenary work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He struck the Mercenary job and began his own company from there.

History: He was born into a rich family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He tends to his Architect job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
