Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Theobald fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. Roland is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He worked as a nervous Stableman and found it very stressful. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Stableman and was forced into it by his family; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: The child of a Shepherd, who enjoyed hunting, Anselm was taken on many hunting expeditions. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was born into a rich family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he is greedy

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: He was born in a small mountains village. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and many gnolls want him driven away
