Description: A middle-aged man, he wears blue painted combat armor at almost all times, and is pretty ugly. His chestnut hair is knotted and matted. He is baby faced.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Cory lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

History: Gifted from a young age, Lance studied abroad. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Miller profession.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He struck the Spice Merchant job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and balancing his hectic life and new spice merchant responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Alexandre speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
