History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A freak accident while working with his Architect father left him crippled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born in the south to a Seamstress, Bertram learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer.
