History: Chad hails from a village terrorized by orcs. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Hunter. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: The child of a Miner, who enjoyed hunting, Thomas was taken on many hunting expeditions. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with music. He constantly tries to fill his life with music. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature quarterstaff.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: He wears an entirely white suit with tan socks and a vest with buckled shoes. He has relatively light skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his youth he was a Sellsword, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Miles fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
