Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Born to a Seamstress, his mother struggled to pay the bills. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Everard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: He got into the Detective business at a young age. His childhood dream was to be a Jeweler, but he was a colossal failure. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Description: He wears tan robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a pickaxe, but if one is not available he will default to his greatsword. His chestnut hair has been sun bleached extensively. His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of drow may trigger it at times.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a simple violet robe with pastel stripes complete with hood, and is pretty ugly. His feathered hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His eyes are likewise brown. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Spy business.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people.
