History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Ralf alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born in the west. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Roger's homeland. Roger decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
