History: Lance was born with his father's beautiful face. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Baker. He tends to his Baker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Baker responsibilities is difficult; and to be a butcher again

Description: A middle-aged man, he has the majority of his body covered in plate, and is pretty ugly. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His eyes are violet and beady.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Anselm was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Anselm's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
