History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. The war was a terrible time for him, and Ernest does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Ernest was born with his mother's beautiful face. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Ernest was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Ernest and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. Richard enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

History: Born in the north to a Shoemaker, Frederick learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
