History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hunter grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Cartwright. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature warhammer.

Description: This tall, slender man is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. He has styled his blonde hair well, parting it to the right. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his green eyes.

Personality: He is a Guard first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Guard. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: Patrick speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. At a young age his father died while driving off some illithids. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in hammer use. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Patrick fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he is wracked by social anxiety

His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
