Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. He has a blonde handlebar mustache and slicked back blonde hair. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady brown eyes.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Anselm was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Anselm was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Anselm decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Ruler born in the past three hundred years. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He struck the Ruler job and began his own company from there.
