Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Lance's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: The child of a Herbalist, who enjoyed hunting, Lance was taken on many hunting expeditions. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: Bertram is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Bertram is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to drow.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Unemployed father left him crippled. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Interpreter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Interpreter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's also a talented Roofer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
