History: He was born in the east. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: He is a Miner first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was born in a small island village. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Miner for hire.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: With grey face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. He is bald on top and has large white tufts of hair around his ears. His amber eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: Don hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Don fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: A deep hatred of goblins.

Description: He wears a tan armored body suit, with a simple brown line shooting up and back down. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. He has shaved his head bald. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of goblins once and for all.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and retire the richest man in the north

Description: This man is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are brown.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Interpreter arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he's looking for his big break
